The classification of NEW Water
As we know NEW Water is kind of recycled water. It means the water comes from wastewater that undergoes certain process as a treatment from sewages. The wastewater undergo process of stringent purification, treatment process using advanced dual membrane (microfiltration and reverse osmosis) and ultraviolet technologies in addition to conventional water treatment processes to produce drinking water.
In Fiqh terms, NEW Water can be classified as Musta’mal Water (the water that has been used) and Mutanajjis Water (the water that contain najjis). Musta’mal Water is clean but not holy (cannot be used to clean from najjis and hadas or istinjak or oblution or in malaytidak suci). Mutanajjis Water is not clean and not holy. According to the purification and treatment processes of the water, the status of N]EW Water changed from Mutanajjis Water to Mutlaq Water. The changing process “التغير” (At-tghayyur) to treat the wastewater from sewages and to maintain the original characteristics of Mutlaq Water. There are three ways for doing the changing process, such as the following:
a.Natural changing process means the changing through time, the sun or wind.
b.Changes by adding water.
c.Changes in unclean removed from water.
The changing process will give back the Mutlaq Water characteristics if the remaining water that undergo the changing process includes of two pits (less than 720 liters) or more. Besides of Mutanajjis water that can be purified or give back the characteristics of Mutlaq Water through that ways, Musta’mal Water also can undergoes the same process to be Mutlaq Water back or to give back the characteristics of Mutlaq Water.
The conclusion is NEW Water is known as Mutlaq Water because it shows or gets back the properties of Mutlaq water through the following changing process.
Question 2
The legal consequences of using the water on certain Ibadat such as oblution (wudhu’) and others.
Water is one of our necessities in our life. We used water for drinking, cleaning, agriculture and others. Do you know how many types of water in Islamic Fiqh? There are four types of water which are Mutlaq Water (clean and holy which can be used to clean najjis and hadas “الطاهر المطهر”), water that used to clean and not encourage to be used to clean najjis and hadas but it (الطاهر المطهر المكروح), water that is clean but not holy, cannot clean najjis and hadas ( الطاهرغير المطهر) and Muttanajjis Water ( water that contain najjis “المتنجس”).
From the explaination from Question 1 we would know that NEW Water is classified in the term of Mutlaq Water or “الطاهر المطهر”. It has no properties of najjis, such as it’s colour, taste, and smell. Actually this kind of process is not new in Islamic Fiqh which shows that Islam as a complete religion. So, what is the legal consequence of using the NEW Water? The consequence is NEW Water can be used to clean najjis and hadas or said in Arabic sah for Ibadat. It also can be used in daily life for wudhu’, drinking, cleaning agriculture and others.
Lastly, the NEW Water can be used wisely in our daily life because it has been proved by Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan. This shows that we can use the NEW Water for Ibadat without any doubt anymore.
Question 3
Opinion on the use of NEW Water.
In my opinion, the use of NEW Water is good and one of the alternative ways to get clean and holy water for country which has limited amount of water. Now, the time has changed and the technology improved. Then, new way to recycle water is produce. Why not we use the technology? Furthermore, the NEW Water has been tested scientifically does not contain any harm content that affect our health. In its legal consequence give positive view that NEW Water is holy and clean which means it can be used for Ibadat. That shows NEW Water is good and can be used in Ibadat without any doubt.

...melintasi bngunn hostel acassia, jati, kawasn perumahan anggerik.....menyelami perasaan kawan2 yg pulang dn pergi ke kelas dengan berjalan kaki dr acasia dn anggerik.........matlamat yg amat jelas!!!.....sejelas kejernihan Kristal......semangat yang membara seiring dengan kepanasan suhu atmosphere dibumi nilai........bersyukur di atas nikmat yang telah diberi Allah.....msih diberi kekuatan melangkah dn merasai kesusahan orang lain.....

Today -7th April 2010- Wednesday. It is such a touch day. It was the last class with En.Yusuf, our Statistic’s Lecturer. He always advice us to read, do something and don’t waste time. We are Malays are the least population who like to read. Indian is the most Who like to read. That’s why most of them become lawyers, actuarist and others. They are success in their profession. Read newspaper! Come early. We learn just like the other day. Our lesson will start by En.Yusuf’s da’wah or tazkirah. We learn how to derive the expected value of probably distributions, moments and others.
At the end of the class, he said that he will be retired because he is getting older and he didn’t stand to drive along about 50 km every day. He said that he feel like crying. Oh no! Suddenly, he cries. It’s touching. I feel like crying too but tahan2.huhu. He touches our hearts. Then, he asks us to belajar baik2. He asks us for apology for whatever he has said and for everything. He said that he treat us just like his children. He said don’t care about he said just ignore it. Before he going out from the class, he tell us that he has told us the tips to succeed and now all depend on you. He wishes us good luck...

Friday,6th March 2010- Cherating, Pahang students of BSc of Financial Mathematics held Family Day which formally known as Kembara Destinasi Intelektual (KD-Intelek). We stayed for 2 days 1 night at Sanctuary Resort which is located near the Cherating Beach.....The view is very awesome...beautiful....
Akhirnya kami sampai jua..........student 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th year.........

sebelum pulang ke USIM.....selepas sesi penyampaian hadiah.....

Family day yg best!!! seronok!!walaupun isnin, keesokan harinya ade test MACROECONOMY...subjek EnRazak(yg sdg duduk memakai spectacles).........haha........
* pengalaman pertama menjadi fasilitator....merupakan satu pengalaman dan kenangan yang mungkin tak akan dilupakan......pada mulanya memang agak berat untuk meninggalkan rumah...lgi2 waktu cuti mid sem......tapi demi menyahut cabaran dan dalam masa yang sama untuk menimba ilmu melalui pengalaman ...
secara jujurnya pada awalnya saya agak berdebar-debar..maklumla....pertama kali nk jd fasi dan perlu memberikan contoh yg baik utk adik2....
Pertama kali dlm sejarah main futsal sempena SUFAST 2010 ……kami seramai 6 org Syira , Hajar, Wahidah , Mija , Balqis , Maryam ……main futsal…mmg perlawann yg lawak…….. Tiqa main bola tampar….kami yg men Futsal sebebnarnya x tou main….tp daftar je ….sje……hahaha……mmg paki bntai je main…..pagi2 je da kcut perut…..timbul la pertanyaan….weh mcm mane nk men ni?…x tou ape2….kte main je la.....hohoo….Farhanah pun cter la sdikit senyak psl Futsal n beri smangat….hehe….sbg manager kami…hihiii………
1st perlawann lawan bdak 2nd year …..selidik2…dorg pon x tou men sgt…agak lega la…..hahhaa….lawan punye lawan….kami seri…1-1….kre ok la tu….ak plak tlh kecundang pd 5 minit pertama…. Jatuh!!!sakit!!!!!...koyak seluar kt bhgian lutut….tercabut kasut…..hohoo….mmg sakit…lps tu da x men lg da…haha…jd reserved player…..

….tp kami MENANGsepak penalty…hhhahaha……..wllupn “kami kalah berdarah, tp kami kalah bermaruah”….ngih2…..:D……Maryam ( sakit bhgiankaki ke bwh@ tekehel) lbih kurg mcm Balqis cme + kasut tercabut….hehe…., Hajar (jatuh bergolek2…. luka di siku “dll”)…..Wahid (luka di pergelangan tangn)……Mija ( luka di lutut…dn lebam2…)…..haha…. most of us punye seluar bnyk yg koyak @ blubang…sme de yg kecik atau pony g bosar…de tu smakin haus di bhgian lutut….ngih2….:D…“adat perlawann mmg ada yg meng dn ade yg kalah” menang ataou kalah …….x kesah …ape yg penting?…kerjasama!!!!.....Chaiyok!!!!....dn juga semangat!!!!!
